Carolina Larrosa is a first-generation Cuban-American from Hialeah and deeply misses mango season. In 2021, Carolina received her BFA in Intermedia at Concordia University. She is a recipient of the Concordia Undergraduate Student Research Award, with which she developed her practice in Cuban ecocritical studies. She also received the Elspeth McConnell Award in Fine Arts from Concordia to fund her ongoing programming internship with Ada X. Carolina currently lives and works in Louisville, Kentucky.
